Choose your passport and the date you arrive. The calculator shows how many days you get under the rules in force since 15 September 2026 and the last day you may stay, counting the arrival day as day one.

How the count works
Thai immigration counts the day you arrive as day one, so a 30-day stay that starts on 1 March ends on 30 March. The stamp in your passport is what counts: always check it at the airport. A visa exemption can usually be extended once at an immigration office for a fee, at the officer's discretion; check the current rules with the Immigration Bureau.
Land-border entries on a visa exemption are limited to two per calendar year, except for citizens of Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia and Singapore.
This calculator is a planning aid, not legal advice. Rules changed on 15 September 2026 and can change again: read our guide to the visa exemption and overstaying, and the old visa and retirement overview.
